"What I loves the most about makeup artistry is an opportunity to make every client I work with not only feel good about themselves, but feel their best day-in and day-out.  Most importantly, working as an aspiring artist gives me the opportunity to be creative, grow in new ways, and constantly challenge myself."

Makeup Tutorial

BROWS

STEP 1.  For Chido's look, I used NYX's Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in #5.  After filling in her brows, I used a cream based concealer one shade lighter than Chido's complexion to clean up under-neath the brows.

EYES

STEP 2.   For eyes, I applied an eye-shadow base all over the entire eye.  I used MAC's Paint Pot in Layin Low.  I then set the base with an eye-shadow similar to the Paint Pot.

STEP 3.  I then applied a transition colour in Chido's crease-I used Makeup Forever's Morello Cherry.  For her lid colour, I swept a shimmery gold shadow all over lids.  We decided to amp up the look a bit, so I applied gold glitter using NYX Roll on Shimmer in Walnut.

STEP 4.  Eye lined Chido's eyes with a gel-liner (we went with a winged eye), added a hint of black mascara and then added Ardell's Demi Wispies false lashes.

FACE

STEP 5.  For her face, I cleansed with Bioderma's Makeup Remover; moisturized the skin with a Cetaphil moisturizer and added primer using Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer.

STEP 6.  We applied foundation from Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Palette all over Chido's face, blending it into her neckline and hairline to give a natural finish.

STEP 7.  We applied concealer under her eyes using a shade 2 shades lighter than her complexion.  We set the concealer with a Banana powder.

STEP 8.  The rest of the face was set with a powder the shade of Chido's natural complexion.  I used MAC's blotting powder in Deep Dark.

CHEEKS

STEP 9. We applied a dust of blush using MAC's Desert Rose.

LIPS

STEP 10. For lips, we lined the entire lip with NYX's lip pencil in Burgundy used MAC's SIN to finish off the lips.
