Instagram is the best way to find inspiration
from people from all walks of life. This form of social media has taken a life
of its own and it even has its own lingo, like "selfie" – Definition -To
take a picture of one's self. Those of you active on Instagram know all to well how
this narcissistic art form is the norm, but when it is use it FOR GOOD, NOT EVIL, it can be a very powerful thing! It can be the very thing
that lights the fire under your ass every time you head to the gym. Ever since
Instagram launched its video app, its has allowed fitness gurus to have access
to thousands of people worldwide. I have been using these Fiercely Fit
Ladies of Instagram as my fitness bible before I go to sleep at night (
prepping for my AM workout) or just before I leave the office ( Prepping for my
PM workout). They have great daily workout pictures and videos, coupled with
fitness, food and supplement tips that keep me challenged and inspired.
1. Charlene Johnson- The Queen B.
A celebrity trainer and you may recognize Charlene from
TurboJam & TurboFire workout videos from way way back! She is a fitness goddess and she puts
anyone to shame with her amazeballs physic. She has daily fitness Instagram videos, especially my personal favorite HIIT workouts( High Intense Interval Training). HIIT workouts is great for burning as much fat as possible in a specific time. This can be 30 second-60 second time periods/ 3-5
sets. I feel comfortable doing most of Charlene’s workout, however, getting some of her equipment or doing them at the gym is best. Charlene is one of the best trainers out there and many other fitness gurus on Instagram reference her workout moves. #charlenejohnson
2. Nic- Get Fit With Nic- The Body
A personal trainer in LA, I call Nic "The
Body" because she is built like a tank and she is the closes fitness person on Instagram who has my
body type. I have officially fallen back in love with my body because of Nic! I
have a tiny waist and hella hella ass and thighs. I am fortunate that my abs
are one of my best assets that always bounce back, no matter how bad I neglect
them ( I am sure my first child will break the camel's back and ruin me for
life). Nic does a lot of outdoor HITT, resistance and strength training workouts. You want them
Nic abs, she has great abdominal workouts too. The reality is that I will
not be a petit as Charlene, but Nic, I am coming after you Girl!!!
3. Shauna Harrison- Hip Hop Fitness Yogi
Fitness. Yoga. Hip Hop. Sports. In that
order! Shauna is like no other fitness/yogi. What makes her truly original is how she incorporates underground and
old skool hip hop to her yoga and fitness routines. who knew that yoga and
hip hop had a steamy love affair and created Shauna! This Aussie fitness
powerhouse is sponsored by Under Armour and her 7-day a week sweat
