My
grocery-shopping list ended up being more about flowers than about food. In
hindsight I have to thank my grandmother (Mbuya) for instilling this love
affair I have with flowers. From a young age my summers with my 2
siblings and 5 cousins have been working in Mbuya's garden, while waiting for
cartoons to start at 3pm ( No cable back then) and I didn’t realize then
how much that would have a profound effect on my love for flowers and
instilling the best memories in my childhood. Please be warned I will
probably have a lot of blog posts on my journey to develop my green thumb, I
have killed enough indoor plants! I hope to make Mbuya proud!
